Training and Events
This page has details of face to face training that we offer for our volunteers, for example A Safe Space (Safeguarding), First Response (First Aid) and Leadership Qualification sessions as well as training for Going Away With qualifications.

1st Response course on Friday evenings – Jan 8th, 15th, 22nd. 7 – 9pm.
This is the new full 1st response course. It will be delivered in three sessions over zoom. Trainees must attend all three sessions to complete the course.
In addition all participants need to complete the online module found at https://training.girlguiding.org.uk/first-response/?_ga=2.236008456.881240757.1604771296-2072544888.1441833614#/menu/5f1ec172e2dbde2f11ab1d0d . This takes about 15 minutes.
There will also be a practical session once regulations allow it which will take 15 – 30 minutes. You will receive details of this in due course.

If you already hold a valid 1st aid qualification from another association or your work please check with your commissioner whether it will be accepted before you sign.
